A study of the average values of magnetic clouds with different polarity has shown that the subset of magnetic clouds with N-S polarity has time-integrated values greater than those for magnetic clouds with S-N polarity. This result agrees with a model calculation. %N 10 %T A study of the geoeffectiviness of southward interplanetary magnetic field structures %K Storms. %@secondarytype PRE PI %@usergroup administrator %@usergroup banon %@usergroup marciana %@group DGE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DGE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DGE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DGE-INPE-MCT-BR %@copyholder SID/SCD %@secondarykey INPE-9725-PRE/5320 %@issn 0273-1177 %2 sid.inpe.br/marciana/2003/06.05.09.19.19 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais, Divisão de Geofísica Espacial %B Advances in Space Research %P 2335-2338 %4 sid.inpe.br/marciana/2003/06.05.09.19 %@documentstage not transferred %D 2002 %V 30 %A Vieira, Luiz Eduardo Antunes, %A González-Alarcon, Walter Demétrio, %A González-Alarcon, Alicia Luiza Clúa de, %A Dal Lago, Alisson, %@dissemination WEBSCI; PORTALCAPES; MGA; COMPENDEX. %@area CEA
